The one nice thing about traveling around is that you get to meet all kinds of wonderful people, and they are so eager to "share" themselves and their surroundings with you. The pictures below are those shot from the Portland, Oregon seminar in mid-April 2006. The landscapes were simply amazing, but the landscape pales to their wonderful residents!
Thank you girls, for one fantastic, memorable trip!

This honery monkey is my friend Jamie Mills-Price. She was not only kind enough to join us for the seminar in Portland, but she also kept me company as my room mate for her stay. We had lots of good stuff to gab about and catch up on.

Have you ever meet someone that you feel you've known forever? Well this sweet lady, Linda Ware, is one of those people!Linda was our "official driver" for the trip to the coast, and her 9-seater mini-van is where they kept me hostage for the entire journey! <giggles> I'm a tad bit chlostrophobic and they put me in the back row. LOL They allowed me to get out sporadically, and they fed me a good meal at the coast.

For dessert we wound our way around roads with VERY high cliffs and I had my head buried in Jamie's underarm for most of that part!

You're probably figuring there was lots of giggling on this trip!
That goes without saying . . .

This is Bell Breaux or "Miss Belle" as everyone now addresses her! This is the name I gave to her about 5 years ago when we met in a class in North Carolina. Ms. Bell now resides in Portland and she surprised me by showing up at the airport to pick me up and take me to the class. She spent the day touring the coast with the "group", and stayed both days to paint. That was yet another treat I had in store on this special trip!

This special lady is Cindy Ferguson, my seminar coordinator.
Cindy is so full of life and she brings "life" to the Chapter. Everyone loves having her around (including me) and she's one of the most giving people I've ever met. She is truly an asset to this Chapter.
Cindy, thanks for your great work in making this a total success!
