Dot's doing it again!!!
(Written 02/13/07)

My painting friend, Dot Savigan has held another fun wooden shoe class and she was kind enough to show us the fruits of her labor. I think it is just wonderful to see a group of ladies get together and enjoy one another's company and share their love of painting with each other. Dot's been going great guns with her painting classes. Wouldn't you just LOVE to sit at the table with these ladies? I sure would! Dot, you never know where I'm liable to turn up. Save me a seat okay? <wink> Thanks for sharing this class with us! Great job girls.

You know . . . , as I look at the two pictures below I realize that this is how it all starts!

One special painter sharing with others, and the next thing you know your enthusiasm has infected others. SHARE yourself with others just as Dot Savigan has, and invited some friends to sit around your dining room table to paint!

Dot Savigan of Wappingers Falls, New York, held a class in September.
I know this only because Dot decided to use the "All Hallows Eve" wooden shoe design as her class subject and she ordered a boat load of shoes. I was delighted to see how much fun Dot and her class had with the design. I wish I could have come to paint with you all!

This is a farewell shot of Janet Margraf, me, and Chris White as I was ready to board the train in Philadelphia.
As you may already know, these two ladies are responsible for finding my pointy wooden shoes.

This is kind of funny, but Janet (left) has been mistaken for me, so she frequently masquerades as the Tolefairie in my absence! LOL Be careful - she's a tricly little devil.

Chris and Janet started out as students and acquaintances, but as these few years have passed we have grown to be special friends. I love them both!

This photo still cracks me up!
Our class started out as a real class, but we lost them one by
one. We had two students left at the close of the day. Those who stayed fell asleep! LOL I hope I didn't bore them to death.
Below is our grou of Del-Val girls.

I know this goes without saying, but I sure had a great time with you all.
Don't you think it's time for the Fairie to come back?
