Welcome to the on-line studio of Roxanne M. Jarvis, also
known as the Tolefairie.

Roxanne is a decorative artist and textile designer and has done so professionally since 1999. The artwork you find throughout the website is her own, and in addition to what is on the site, her designs are frequently found in the industry's leading painting and textile "how-to" publications.

Roxanne travel teaches and publishes instructional design patterns for the decorative painter. She hopes to expand her instructional packets to include a few textile-based arts too. Below is but a small sampling of her paintings and if you'd like to see a little more just take a look in the Shopping Area of our site.

THE SUNFLOWER BASKET

Featured in the October 2010 Issue of PaintWorks Magazine is Roxanne's acrylic on canvas entitled The Sunflower Basket. Roxanne used a textured background and impasto techniques to mimic an oil painting. Get all the information you need to paint this design, available on newsstands soon!
